Gym Services
Orientation
Learning how to use gym equipment for the first time can be intimidating, that’s why the YMCA is happy to offer all of its members an introduction on how to use the various equipment available at both of our fitness locations!
24-Hour Access
Work out at anytime with the YMCA’s 24-hour Gym Access! For an additional $2.50 per bi-weekly payment, you will receive 24-hour access to our cardio and weight floor!
Support & Training
Don't know where to start with creating a fitness routine? Struggle with consistency? Reach your full potential with a YMCA Personal Trainer and a training program tailored to you and your fitness goals.
Drop-in Activities
Always wanted to try a new sport? Join our regulars at Drop-in Pickleball, Drop-in Floor Hockey or Drop-in Open Gym to make new connections and increase your fitness.
Living Fit Program
The Living Fit program provides safe, supportive, barrier-free health and wellness opportunities for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. At the Y we believe health and wellness is for every body.
Financial Assistance
The YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign is dedicated to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from accessing our programs and services.

Fitness
If you're looking for cardio and strength activities, the YMCA of Medicine Hat has you covered. Your membership gives you access to a wide variety of classes, such as Bootcamps, Cycle Classes, and more.
Yoga
Whether you are new to yoga and looking for a supportive environment to begin your journey, or an advanced yogi looking for a new challenge, the Y has a class to support you and your goals.
Karate
Experience traditional Fudokan/Shotokan Karate in a group instructed setting. Strengthen your mind while you strengthen your body. Boost confidence, gain mental clarity, and develop speed, strength, and agility.
Rock Climbing
