YouthWORKS
The YouthWORKS Program is designed to assist youth aged 15 to 30 overcome barriers to employment. Participants will develop key employability and personal management skills that are critical to finding and maintaining meaningful work. Four to six weeks of paid in-class training is followed by six weeks of paid work experience with a local employer.

Are you Eligible for the YouthWORKS Program?
You are eligible for the program if:
You are between the ages of 15-30.
You are NOT registered in school full-time.
You are available to attend in-class training Monday to Thursday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
You are willing to engage in employability and personal management skills training.
Employability Skills
Employability skills are critical skills you need to enter, stay in and progress in the workplace. These skills can also be applied beyond the workplace in your daily and personal activities. Understanding and applying these skills will help you participate and progress in the world of work.
