YMCA of Medicine Hat Announces 2023 Strong Kids Campaign

The YMCA cares about the same things you care about: raising healthy and resilient kids, ensuring youth feel confident and supported, and helping people feel healthy and connected to others in the community. As one of Medicine Hat's largest operational charities, we focus on helping children and families thrive, promoting healthy living, and fostering belonging and connection.

Our Strong Kids campaign ensures that the YMCA is accessible to all people, regardless of financial circumstances.

We are currently in the midst of our 2023 Strong Kids Campaign push with a goal of achieving $25,000.00 raised by May 31st. Thanks to a number of initiatives and individual donations we are well on our way to achieving our target with $14, 392.00 raised to date.

It is not too late, you may support the campaign with a cash donation online at medicinehatymca.ca/donate or in person at the Downtown or South Ridge branches. You can also check out one of our Strong Kids initiatives: YMCA Garage Sale on May 27th at the South Ridge Branch 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, check out one of our current raffles (B&A Art exhibits/50-50 draw/BBQ Lovers Freezer Pack) or support two causes by purchasing Mavericks Game Night tickets using the code YMCA2023.

All proceeds raised through the Strong Kids campaign will be matched up to 50% through the Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink program.
