Sun City Dental Invests in YMCA of Medicine Hat to Improve Men’s Wellness

Last year the YMCA of Medicine Hat embarked on an ambitious $3 million dollar capital campaign to make improvements to the Downtown YMCA facility located at 150 Ash Avenue SE. Sun City Dental championed the campaign by sponsoring renovations in the Men’s Health Plus Club changeroom. Thanks to their generous donation of $75,000, improvements to this area include new hot tub mechanical, plumbing and electrical upgrades, new flooring, updated fixtures and countertops, etc.“
It’s important to us to invest in men’s wellness,” says Chris Baba, owner of Sun City Dental, “The last two years have highlighted the struggles in our community related to men’s mental health. The YMCA’s Men’s Health Plus Club is a safe and welcoming place where men can find a sense of belonging, feel connected to community, and improve their overall wellness. We are proud to contribute to men’s wellness in our community through this investment at the YMCA.”
