YMCA of Medicine Hat announces Canadian Olympian Sage Watson as Ambassador for 2022 Strong Kids Campaign

The YMCA of Medicine Hat is proud to introduce Canadian Olympian Sage Watson as the 2022 Strong Kids Campaign Ambassador.

The Strong Kids campaign raises money throughout to year ensure any individual can access YMCA programs such as day camps, youth classes, and fitness memberships, regardless of financial circumstances. This year’s campaign has raised $22,500 so far, with a goal to raise $75,000 by Aug 31st.

The YMCA has a variety of fundraising initiatives planned to support the Strong Kids campaign over the coming months, including the annual River Run on June 18th. All proceeds raised during the campaign will be leveraged through the 2022 Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program where the funds will be matched by up to 50%.

Individuals who would like to support the campaign directly may do so by donating online at https://medicinehatymca.ca/donate or in person at the Downtown or South Ridge branches. Charitable tax receipts are provided for all donations of $10 or higher.
