Pay Grid: Level 1 - $17/hr
Department: Y Treasure
Hours: Part time - 0-30hrs

What qualifications are we looking for?
At the YMCA of Southeastern Alberta, we strive to ensure our employees are a good fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Education/Certifications/Credentials/Professional Registration
• Standard First Aid, CPR-Level C
• Evidence of a clear Police Information Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search if applicable), within the last six months
Knowledge & Skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Previous experience working in a retail environment is an asset
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS system
• Ability to work quickly to meet targets by established deadlines
What does this role look like at the YMCA of Southeastern Alberta?
Reporting to the Y Treasure Thrift Store Supervisor, the Y Treasure Sorter/Clerk is responsible for working in the back-end of the store to receive, move, sort, process, and price donated items, as well as working in the public-facing portion of the store, being able to run the POS system and putting merchandise on the sales floor
