Position Title: HFA Worker

Reports To: Membership Services Manager

Pay Grid: Level 1 - $16.50/hour

Department: HFA

Hours: Part time - 3-37hrs

What qualifications are we looking for?

At the YMCA of Southeastern Alberta, we strive to ensure our employees are a good fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Education/Certifications/Credentials/Professional Registration

• Standard First Aid, CPR-Level C

• Evidence of a clear Police Information Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search if applicable), within the last six months

• YMCA Shift Lead training is an asset or willingness to obtain it

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient computer skills, MS Office suite an asset

• Strong sales and customer service experience

• Ability to act professionally in all situations, representing the YMCA according to it’s core values

• Able to deal with difficult situations and complaints with confidence

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and time management skills

What does this role look like at the YMCA of Southeastern Alberta?

Reporting to the Membership Services Supervisor, the HFA Worker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all people that access the YMCA facility while demonstrating the YMCA’s core values. This role will provide support to every department within the HFA facility with the main duties being in the Membership department.
