The Living Fit program provides safe, supportive, barrier-free health and wellness opportunities for people with disabilities and chronic, stable conditions. The program aids individuals with:
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Cognitive Disabilities
- Spinal Cord Injuries
- Brain Injuries
- Cerebral Palsy
- Heart Disease
Clients may be referred to the program by various organizations or their physicians. A referral is not necessary, however, and individuals may join at any time to improve their health and quality of living.
Participants in the Living Fit Program range in age from teens to those in their 70’s and 80’s. Participants will be required to:
- Book a medical assessment with our Living Fit Coordinator.
- Obtain clearance from a physician (if needed after medical assessment).
- Book a physical assessment with our Living Fit Coordinator.
*Any costs associated with this physician’s clearance would be at the participant’s expense.
