This program provides comprehensive and individualized services that enable individuals who are close to the labour market to acquire workplace and occupation-related skills that will facilitate their rapid attachment or re-attachment to the labour market.
Individuals must be:
- 18 years of age or older
- Not attending school
- Ready, willing and able to obtain full-time employment
- Resume and cover letters
- Job search assistance
- Interview and career coaching
- Job placement
- Labour market information
- Identifying skills and abilities
- Computer assistance
- Certificate courses
- Workplace support
- Work experience
Program staff meet with businesses and/or employers to determine their hiring needs and provide a successful match between the employment opportunity and job seeker. Our team will deliver on the job coaching and mentorship to support employment maintenance.
This program is at no cost to participants or employers.
